VNUS Medical Technologies to Report Third-Quarter 2008 Results and Webcast Teleconference on October 29

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VNUS(R) Medical Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNUS), a leading provider of medical devices for the minimally invasive treatment of peripheral vascular disease, announced today that it plans to report its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2008, after the close of market on October 29.

VNUS plans to host its regular quarterly teleconference at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET on October 29. This call will be webcast live for all investors and archived on the company's website at http://www.vnus.com.
