VARTA Microbattery, the company behind the world's best-engineered batteries, has announced the opening of its new North American Headquarters in Rye, NY. On June 12, Westchester County’s business community received an inside look at the company who propelled the first electric car and powered the camera Neil Armstrong used to capture his monumental moon landing in an opening celebration showcasing VARTA’s many historic achievements and innovative new technologies.

VARTA Microbattery, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of retail and OEM batteries and energy storage systems, has been operating for more than 125 years. The company’s move to The International Corporate Center at Rye, 555 Theodore Fremd Avenue, is a result of its continued growth and expansion in the battery market. The state-of-the-art office space supports VARTA’s innovative staff that engineer, design and produce customized batteries for high-profile corporations form around the country and the world.
