Annual Meeting Date Also Announced

SILVER SPRING, Md., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United Therapeutics Corporation (Nasdaq: UTHR) announced today that it will release its 2007 fourth quarter and annual financial results before the open of market on Tuesday, February 19, 2008.

United Therapeutics will host a half-hour teleconference on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The teleconference is accessible by dialing 800-603-1777, with international callers dialing +1-706- 679-8129. A rebroadcast of the teleconference will be available for one week following the teleconference by dialing 800-642-1687, with international callers dialing +1-706-645-9291, and using the conference call identification number 33422885.

United Therapeutics' 2008 Annual Meeting of stockholders will be held on April 29, 2008, at the company's headquarters located at 1110 Spring Street, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910. Only stockholders of record at the close of business on March 7, 2008, will be entitled to notice of and to vote at the 2008 Annual Meeting. United Therapeutics' proxy materials regarding the 2008 Annual Meeting will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on or about March 7, 2008.
