UBM Canon, the Global MedTech Authority, and the Medical Design Excellence Awards Announce Dean Kamen as the Presenter of the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award

mobility device, and the Segway® Human Transporter. Mr. Kamen was awarded the National Medal of Technology in 2000, the Lemelson-MIT Prize 2002, and has been inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2005.

Mr. Kamen will present Dr. Fogarty with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2012 MDEA awards ceremony during the MD&M East conference and tradeshow in Philadelphia on May 23. Before the awards ceremony, Dr. Fogarty and Mr. Kamen will participate in a live Q&A panel lead by UBM's Director of Content, Rich Nass. The panel will be held from 2:30- 3:00pm on the MD&M East show floor.
