That is the message from two Lehigh Valley healthcare leaders, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network (GSRN) and B. Braun Medical Inc. (B. Braun), which are combining their knowledge, expertise and innovative technology to enhance the delivery of rehabilitation services in the community.

GSRN became the first healthcare network in Pennsylvania to deploy new B. Braun infusion therapy technologies designed to improve patient safety and help reduce medication errors. The B. Braun products include Outlook(R) ES "Smart Pumps" and SPACE(R) Infusion Pump System.

"B. Braun's leading-edge infusion pumps continue Good Shepherd's commitment to patient safety," said Sally Gammon, FACHE, Good Shepherd's President and CEO. "Good Shepherd is dedicated to investing in technology that helps us provide the very best rehabilitation care for our patients, helping them return to their highest level of function and independence."

The collaboration between the rehabilitation network and the leading medical device manufacturer results from a joint commitment to patient safety and quality care shared by Gammon and B. Braun Chair
