TriLink BioTechnologies to Sponsor 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame,' a SAY San Diego Event Benefiting San Diego Families in Need
Date:8/25/2010

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- TriLink BioTechnologies (TriLink), announced that it is sponsoring SAY San Diego's "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," a series of San Diego Padre games in the month of August to benefit San Diego families in need. The Padre's Foundation will donate a portion of each ticket sale to SAY. Sponsors can also purchase tickets that SAY will give to San Diego families, who might otherwise not get to visit the ballpark. TriLink has purchased tickets for their employees and customers, as well as donating 50 tickets to SAY clients.

The "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" Event will be held at the Petco Park in downtown San Diego throughout the month of August. TriLink will sponsor the August 28th game against the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:10 PM, as well as participate in the Special Recognition Pre-game Ceremony August 26th at 3:35 PM.

"As a member of the San Diego Community, TriLink is proud to support SAY San Diego. We are excited to take our team, local customers and 50 San Diego family members in need out for a fun day at the ballpark," said Richard Hogrefe, CEO of TriLink.

"We are thrilled with this support," says Ellen Yaffa, Development Director for SAY San Diego. "Partnerships with community businesses like TriLink expand our capacity to serve kids, families, and communities. Joining together accomplishes so much more than we could ever do by going it alone."

TriLink's sponsorship is a part of an ongoing program to give back to the San Diego community, as well as TriLink's research community. Past events include the annual SAY San Diego Adopt-A-Family program, sponsorship of nucleic acid-based scientific meetings, support of AWIS (Association for Women in Science), the San Diego Rescue Mission, Del Mar and La Jolla school programs and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
