Tri-Valley Dentist Dr. Endre Selmeczy Currently Features Oral Sedation Dentistry
Date:6/20/2012

Livermore, CA (PRWEB) June 20, 2012

Oral sedation dentistry is currently offered at the dentist office of Dr. Endre Selmeczy, who also provides implant dentistry, one-visit dentistry, sleep dentistry and mercury-free dentistry. The new and improved oral sedation dentistry will eliminate dental fear for any patient, as it ensures comfortable, anxiety-free dental care during the operation.

Oral sedation dentistry begins when patients take a small pill about an hour before the dental appointment. Patients are brought to the office by a companion, as they will already feel drowsy when they arrive, and they will be immediately taken to a “comfort room” and covered with a warm blanket following the dental appointment. No tubes are needed, and there is no numbness afterwards.

With patients experiencing a slightly lower level of consciousness, they remain relaxed and calm but are still able to respond to verbal commands during the dental work. Vital signs are monitored throughout the entire procedure. Patients will feel no discomfort and will feel refreshed afterward, with little memory of the dental procedure that took place. Oral sedation dentistry differs from general anesthesia in that it does not leave the patient totally asleep.

Together with Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, oral sedation technology was formed to ensure patients receive comfortable and stress-free dental care. Rest assured, the one-visit dentistry of Dr. Selmeczy will foster a pleasant dental experience through the new service.

Dr. Endre Selmecy combines the best of both worlds
