Thoratec Presentation at Bear Stearns Conference To Be Webcast

PLEASANTON, Calif., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Thoratec Corporation (Nasdaq: THOR), a world leader in products to treat cardiovascular disease, said today that it will be participating in the Bear Stearns 2007 Healthcare Conference on Tuesday, September 11.

Gary Burbach, president and chief executive officer, will provide an update on the company, beginning at 3 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time (12 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time).
