The Holistic Sanctuary Raises Alarm About Teenage Drug Addiction
Date:11/4/2013

is, it is easier for a doctor to write a prescription than to explore other effective options to combat pain,” he says. "And it is easier for patients to take those prescription pills than to search for alternatives themselves. Both those things must absolutely change."(6)

Additional statistics from the CDC underscore the cost, medically and financially, of this crisis and its impact on teens, parents and the public at large. For example: Emergency department visits for prescription painkiller abuse of misuse have doubled in the past 5 years to approximately half a million.(7) Another 12 million American teens and adults reported using prescription painkillers to get “high” or for other nonmedical reasons.(8) And finally, nonmedical use of prescription painkillers costs more than $72.5 billion each year in direct health care expenses.(9)

This failure to resolve this epidemic, along with the apparent inability of conventional drug rehabs to curb this problem, is a clear contrast to The Holistic Sanctuary’s all-natural, proprietary, safe and effective means of permanently ending addiction and unifying the mind, body and spirit. In a PBS interview with David Sheff, author of “Clean: Overcoming Addiction and Ending America’s Greatest Tragedy,” he outlines an abundance of reasons why society and traditional addiction treatments have failed to help the 20 million Americans with addictions.(10) Sheff also reminds us that: “Every year in the U.S., 120,000 people die of addiction. That’s 350 a day.”(11)

For Johnny Tabaie, “Johnny The Healer,” (see also http://www.johnnythehealer.com/) the Founder of The Holistic Sanctuary, these statistics fuel his efforts to permanently end addiction, thanks to his safe and successful solution kno
