The American Fertility Association Brings Fertility Education to San Francisco or Parent Hopefuls - Straight and Gay
Date:2/6/2008

NEW YORK, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- In a unique move to provide the unparalleled fertility and family-building information that prospective parents in the San Francisco Bay demand and deserve, The American Fertility Association takes over the Golden Gate Center at the Presidio this Sunday, Feb. 10th for the first-ever West Coast Family Matters conference.

The only national mainstream fertility education and advocacy nonprofit that embeds inclusiveness in its mission, The AFA is bringing under one tent two session-packed tracks: one devoted to basic fertility and family creation and another dedicated to the special issues confronting LGBT parent hopefuls.

A stellar faculty of leading experts will tackle the full spectrum of essential topics including: assisted reproductive medicine, third party reproduction, gamete donation, reproductive law, complementary care and adoption tailored to the family-building needs of the attendees.

The day wraps up with a wine-and-cheese reception with a centerpiece panel, "Having Kids? The Environment and Your Fertility." Guest speakers are the scientific, medical, legal and policy pioneers in understanding and confronting the impact of environmental contaminants on the reproductive health and capabilities of this and future generations.

The American Fertility Association provides men and women, health care professionals, public officials and the media, both nationally and internationally with information about reproductive and sexual health and wellness, all family building options including adoption, and parenting.
