Telik Announces Presentation and Webcast at UBS Global Life Sciences Conference

PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Telik, Inc. (Nasdaq: TELK) announced that company management will provide a corporate overview at the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference in New York City on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time (9:30 a.m. Pacific time). Telik's presentation will be webcast live and will be available for replay through the Telik website, http://www.telik.com, through October 3, 2007.

Telik, Inc. of Palo Alto, CA is a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing novel small molecule drugs to treat serious diseases.
