SurePure Seals Deal with Major Mexican Food Producer Signifying Continued Traction

NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SurePure, Inc. (OTCBB: SURP) a global leader in liquid photopurification, announced that Sigma Alimentos, a major Mexican food producer, would purchase at least three of its SurePure ultraviolet (UVC) photopurification systems.  Sigma Alimentos has been testing SurePure equipment for over 12 months.  The order represents a major step forward for SurePure in the validation of its technology.

Sigma is the Mexican leader in the production and distribution of refrigerated and frozen foods, and established as the company with the largest number of products on the tables of Mexican families. The company was originally devoted to producing and marketing processed meats, leading the industry. By taking advantage of synergies resulting from its refrigerated distribution network, as of 1994 it ventured into other markets such as yogurt, cheese and ready-to-serve meals.
