NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SurePure, Inc. (OTCBB: SURP) a global leader in liquid photopurification, announced that Sigma Alimentos, a major Mexican food producer, would purchase at least three of its SurePure ultraviolet (UVC) photopurification systems.  Sigma Alimentos has been testing SurePure equipment for over 12 months.  The order represents a major step forward for SurePure in the validation of its technology.

Steve Miller , Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SurePure stated: "Our relationship with Sigma has enabled it to introduce a unique process and to develop a new range of specialty products, made possible only with the SurePure technology. SurePure believes that its technology has been proven to be an effective purification solution and alternative to thermal pasteurization.  SurePure's technology is used in a variety of industries around the world in applications as diverse as calf milk, dairy, fruit juice, wine and brewing.
