Bed bug cases tend to increase during summer. And to help the public protect themselves from the looming higher risk of becoming the pests' next victim throughout the season, My Cleaning Products published a new bed bug guideline. In the guide, the company enumerated the steps of getting rid of bed bugs and avoiding them while traveling.
According to My Cleaning Products, there are two reasons why there is an increase of bed bug infestation during summer: the warm weather and the rise in travel.
As it explained, the high temperature during summer provides bed bugs an environment suitable for their reproduction. Meanwhile, it stated that the rise in travel increases bed bugs' movement. Basically, that's because it gives them more people and things to hitchhike on.
Below is a part of the post How to Prevent Becoming the Next Traveling Bed Bug Victim by My Cleaning Products.
“Summer offers the best time to take that vacation you've been planning for probably years already. But before you go, you should know how to keep your distance from the things that could ruin your otherwise fun trip. And among those things, bed bugs are some that you must be very careful not to come in contact with.
"Based on the records of the previous years, bed bug cases tend to increase during summer. One reason is the warm weather. It basically provides them an environment suitable for their reproduction thus, prompting the increase of their population.”
Because of the high risk of coming in contact with bed bugs while traveling during the bed bug season, My Cleaning Products emphasized the need to have a bed-bug-safe summer trip. And to teach the public how to get it done, it published a new bed bug guide.
In the guide, MCP gave tips how to check a hotel room for the pests. It also listed down steps how one could prevent picking them up and bringing them back home.
However, it stated that bed bugs are sneaky, hence, a person must always be ready to eliminate the pests as they could get past preventive steps. And so to further help the public, apart from the travel tips, it also gave advice on killing bed bugs. Specifically, it advised them to have Bed Bug Bully.
As it said, as a bed bug spray, Bed Bug Bully offers a prompt bed bug treatment. And apart from being effective, it shared that it is also safe given that EPA has already classified it as pesticide-exempt under FIFRA 25(b).
To see it for themselves if the product is truly effective and safe, MCP also related to the public that there are samples of it that they could get. It relayed with them that those Bed Bug Bully Complimentary Samples are available at MyCleaningProducts.com.
