The Legal 500 EMEA 2008 Confirms Squire Sanders' Position as Market Leader

LONDON, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Global law firm Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. has received a glowing review across a range of offices and practice areas in the highly respected independent legal guide The Legal 500 EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) 2008. The publication employs a large team of journalists who conduct in-depth research, which forms a set of rankings and editorial analysis, reflecting the market as accurately as possible. The research includes interviews with peers (private practice lawyers and in-house counsel) as well as interviews with clients.

Squire Sanders is consistently recommended in banking & finance, M&A, dispute resolution, energy, real estate, competition and telecoms.

In Belgium, the firm was recommended in three EU regulatory categories (pharmaceuticals and bioscience, chemicals (REACH) and energy. The editorial commentary recognized the firm's "experience in clinical trials which is almost unparalleled."
