nfections while also raising money," says Steve Beden, President of NABCA.

As part of the Sports Antimicrobial System(R) (SAS), a family of treatments designed to inhibit and minimize microbial contamination on all sport surfaces for extended periods, FabricAide offers antimicrobial defense to all textiles.

Powered by the AEGIS Microbe Shield(R) technology, used in medical and consumer applications for over 30 years, all SAS treatments impart invisible, odorless antimicrobial protection. Registered with the EPA, the technology will not leach any chemicals or heavy metals into the environment and will not rub off onto a player's skin. Since the microbes can not adapt to the treatments, no "super bugs" can develop.

SAS also includes TurfAide(TM) and SportsAide(R). TurfAide provides antimicrobial protection for synthetic turf systems while SportsAide is used on a wide range of sport surfaces including locker rooms, whirlpools, gym mats, and exercise equipment.
