ry work in the world around us.”

Being in the unique position of having spent 20 years in the Chemistry industry - teaching, working and winning competitions, Mr Khoo has developed the “midas touch” when comes to helping students score Distinctions in the A Level Chemistry exam.

Countless JC students first came to Mr Khoo’s company, Focus Chemistry, hating the subject, had no clue about how to solve the exam questions, and had scored an “F” in their previous exams. Mere months later, after Mr Khoo’s JC Chemistry tuition, they almost all scored Distinctions in their final examination.

Scott Wong from Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) commented that, “Mr Dion has been an exceptional H2 chemistry tutor during my JC second year, helping me improve from an E grade to an A in the final A levels and prelims!

Most importantly, he emphasizes the development of an understanding of chemistry, and not just memorizing formulas symbol for symbol.

I appreciate chemistry much more since being under Dion’s engaging tutelage and the final A grade only testifies to that.”

Another student, Xin Rui, from Nanyang Junior College, shares that ever since joining Focus Chemistry tuition, Mr Khoo has helped her bridge the gap in her knowledge of chemistry. “He constantly ensures that we do not merely memorise, but foster a deep understanding as well.

My grades steadily improved from a D in the mid year exams and prelims to an A in the A levels eventually. Thank you Mr Khoo!”

Focus Chemistry offers a progressive class of around 5 – 8 students for each lesson, with a maximum capacity of only 10 students per class. The lessons are conducted in the central part of Singapore and are easily accessible for students. As an added bonus, students can also choose private
