Siemens Showcases New Hearing Loss Solutions at AudiologyNOW! Conference
Date:4/2/2009

Motion(TM) and Life product lines extended to address individual lifestyle needs

DALLAS, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc., one of the largest manufacturers of hearing instruments in the world, today announced new product models and enhancements at the American Academy of Audiology's 21st Annual AudiologyNOW! Conference held April 2 - 4, 2009, in Dallas, Texas.

The new product models in the Motion(TM) line and their expanded compatibility with the hearing instrument accessory product, Tek(TM), give audiologists the tools they need to customize solutions; directly supporting Siemens commitment to treating individual needs and providing customized hearing loss solutions.

Motion offers hearing performance and affordability

Designed for on-the-go wearers, Siemens Motion line has expanded to include 300 and 100 models; complementing the popular 700 and 500 models. Now offering four performance models, wearers can choose an instrument that meets their lifestyle and affordability needs. Motion gives those with mild to severe hearing loss a comfortable, rechargeable and convenient hearing loss solution.

Tek comes to Life

The innovative Tek product that allows hearing instrument users to stream sound from audio devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players and televisions is now compatible with current Siemens 700, 500 and 300 model hearing instruments. This wireless enhancement system allows hearing instrument wearers to hear wireless compatible devices in both ears - something that non-users of hearing aids are not able to do.

The Siemens exhibit at AudiologyNOW! features hands-on demonstrations of the Tek product and details the lifestyle benefits of wireless and Bluetooth(R) hearing loss solutions. Full information of all Siemens products and hearing solutions can be found at the company's website
