Shasta Regional Medical Center Awarded Full Accreditation from the Joint Commission

REDDING, Calif., Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Shasta Regional Medical Center has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval(TM). By demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission's national standards for health care quality and safety, Shasta Regional Medical Center has been awarded its full accreditation.

The Joint Commission conducted an unannounced, initial on-site evaluation of Shasta Regional Medical Center on November 24th - November 25th, 2008. Following a rigorous survey, the Joint Commission awarded a full accreditation of the hospital in complying with the state-of-the-art patient care and safety standards established by the nation's leading healthcare accreditation agency.
