Seoul Viosys Co., Ltd. Announced Viophoton Technology to Lead the Innovation of Household Appliances and Biomedical Devices
Date:9/3/2014

Ansan, South Korea (PRWEB) September 03, 2014

The world-leading UV LED solution provider, Seoul Viosys (C.E.O. Jaejo Kim, http://www.seoulviosys.com) announced on September 3 that they launched the Viophoton technology for the first time in the world.

Viophoton Technology utilizes functional photons of specific energy which deliver germicidal/pollutant-decomposing performance for air/water/surface purification or produce life-extending efficacy for food preservation applications.

The air purifier with Viophoton technology indeed delivers up to 10 times better purification performance compared with existing technologies. Viophoton technology also achieves sterilization efficacy of 99.99% for common pathogenic bacteria.

Viophoton Technology is chemical/toxic material-free and does not rely on short-lasting filters (such as activated carbons), and therefore is ideally suited for environmental-friendly, green applications. Furthermore, Viophoton Technology can be readily incorporated into portable, personal or wearable devices thanks to its small form-factor, low power-consumption and solid-state electronic nature.

“Viophoton Technology is the latest innovation based on Seoul Viosys’s state-of-the-art LED technologies. We expect Viophoton technology to be readily applied to household appliances and biomedical applications. Applying our Viophoton technology to a wide variety of products and systems, we are going to dominate the UV LED product market which is expected to grow to USD 300 billion in near future,” said C.E.O. Jaejo Kim of Seoul Viosys.
