Schering-Plough Schedules Webcast for Annual Meeting of Shareholders

KENILWORTH, N.J., May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Schering-Plough Corporation (NYSE: SGP) will hold its Annual Meeting of Shareholders Friday, May 16, 2008, in Memphis, Tenn. At 8 a.m. (CDT) (9 a.m. EDT) on that day, a live Webcast of the meeting will be available to all interested parties via the corporate Web site, http://www.schering-plough.com.

At the Annual Meeting, Fred Hassan, Chairman and CEO, will report to shareholders on the company's performance and the progress being achieved toward its long-term goals.

Those wishing to listen live to the Webcast of the Annual Meeting should go to the Investor Relations section of the Schering-Plough corporate Web site, http://www.schering-plough.com, and click on the "Presentations/Webcasts" link. A replay of the Webcast will be available via the Web site later that day.
