San Diego Wireless Heavyweight Leap Wireless Supports New Start-up Incubator

ce for the incubator companies. EvoNexus will be fully funded and operated through in-kind and monetary donations.

"As a company that values innovation and operations with an entrepreneurial spirit, we are pleased to have the opportunity to foster that culture in new companies joining the San Diego business community," said Doug Hutcheson, president and CEO of Leap Wireless.

"EvoNexus would not be possible without the support of sponsors like Leap Wireless," said Cathy Pucher, executive director of EvoNexus. "It is this kind of contribution that will enable the start-ups we incubate to become viable companies that contribute jobs and economic growth to the San Diego economy."

Entrepreneurs who are interested in being a part of the EvoNexus incubator should apply online at www.commnexus.org/incubator/. Applicant companies will be judged based on development plan, target market, domain expertise, willingness to participate in entrepreneurial education programs, and other criteria as listed on the website.

Applications are due by midnight on Thursday June 24 in order to be considered for initial selection into the incubator. Applicants not selected for the first round will continue to be reviewed on a periodic basis for subsequent selection.
