Medication Products and Services

WOBURN, Mass., Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Safecor Health, LLC, a pharmacy services and unit-dose bar-code repackaging provider to hospitals, health systems and long-term care pharmacies, announced today it has acquired the assets of privately held Regional Service Center, Inc. Both companies are based in Woburn, Massachusetts. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

A pioneer of unit-dose and bar-coded medications, Regional Service Center, or RSC, ( was launched 30 years ago, and today is the leader in its field. RSC serves more than 350 U.S. hospitals and long-term care pharmacies in more than 30 states and the District of Columbia.

"RSC has an experience base and reputation for quality and customer service that is unmatched in the industry," said Stephen Fischbach, Safecor Health's president and chief executive officer. "We are looking forward to building on RSC's success by investing in capabilities that can play a critical role in the safety of medication administration."

"Safecor Health shares our passion for quality, superior customer service, and making a positive impact on the practice of pharmacy.
