SENOMYX TO WEBCAST CORPORATE PRESENTATION AT THE WACHOVIA CONSUMER GROWTH CONFERENCE

(Nasdaq: SNMX), a leading company focused on using proprietary taste receptor technologies to discover and develop novel flavor ingredients for the food, beverage, and ingredient supply industries, announced today that Kent Snyder, the Company's President and CEO, and John Poyhonen, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial and Business Officer, will present a corporate overview on Tuesday, October 14, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (10:00 a.m. Pacific Time) during the Wachovia Consumer Growth Conference. The conference is taking place at the New York Palace Hotel. During the presentation, Mr. Snyder and Mr. Poyhonen will discuss corporate developments and the Company's pipeline of novel flavor ingredients.
