Rocky Mountain Biologicals Joins International Serum Industry Association
Date:6/25/2013

Missoula, Montana (PRWEB) June 25, 2013

With a view toward earning the prestigious serum traceability certification from the International Serum Industry Association (ISIA), Rocky Mountain Biologicals (RMBIO) (http://www.rmbio.com) joined the ISIA this month. Since its inception in 2004, Rocky Mountain Biologicals has worked towards the same standards of excellence in serum as the ISIA, and their traceability certified members.

Suresh Daniel, CEO of Rocky Mountain Biologicals stated that, “RMBIO recognizes the value that ISIA traceability certificate provides to customers. Our mission has always been to provide our customers the safest source, and highest quality protein and serum products. I believe customers using fetal bovine serum, newborn calf serum, porcine serum and bovine serum albumin (BSA) appreciate the assurance that ISIA traceability certification provides.”

ISIA traceability certification is awarded to members that have voluntarily undergone a rigorous independent audit of their controls and procedures. According to the ISIA, these audits are designed to determine whether the company “maintains records of traceability of all stages in the supply chain for serum batches. This includes auditable history of quality and quantity of materials from the point of collection and documentation supporting all stages of processing and transportation or commercial transactions.”

Daniel continued, “We look forward to undergoing the ISIA’s serum traceability audit and appreciate the benefit this certification provides to our industry. We find great value in our ISIA membership and appreciate the opportunities to collaborate with serum suppliers and other manufacturers in our industry that the Association provides. As our fetal bovine serum and newborn calf serum business continues to grow, our membership will become even more valuable.”
