Robert Cantu Appointed Vice President of Pierpoint International

Leader in Diversity, Military and Campus Recruitment, and Employment Branding joins Pierpoint International as Global VP of Recruitment Operations and Diversity

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) October 20, 2008 -- Pierpoint International is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Cantu as Vice President of Recruitment Operations and Diversity. Mr. Cantu, most recently served as AVP of Staffing and Diversity for USAA, and previously as Worldwide Diversity Leader for Cisco Systems Inc.

During his recent tenure at USAA Mr. Cantu was responsible for all Diversity, Military, and College Recruiting programs, in addition to Employment Branding. As Senior Manager of Worldwide Diversity for Cisco Systems, Inc. Mr. Cantu spearheaded organizational change through the implementation of several groundbreaking diversity initiatives.

Mr. Cantu is a sought-after presenter and panel speaker on matters involving sourcing, recruiting, and diversity recruitment (e.g. Advanced Internet Recruitment Strategies Diversity Seminars, and the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement Conference). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Direct Employers Association. At St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Mr. Cantu earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He resides in San Antonio with his wife and children.
