RiboSolutions Inc. Announces the Release of Cyanase™ Cell Lysis System and Cyanase™ Inactivation Cartridges to their Benzonase® Alternative Catalog
Date:4/22/2013

Cedar Creek, Texas (PRWEB) April 22, 2013

RiboSolutions announces the release of two new products, Cyanase™ Cell Lysis System and Cyanase™ Inactivation Cartridges to their Benzonase® alternative portfolio.

The Cyanase™ Cell Lysis System combines the technology of the Claremont BioSolutions OmniLyse® cell lysis cartridge with the speed and versatility of Cyanase™ nuclease to lyse any cell type fast and easily without the chemicals and detergents used in common kits such as B-per and Bug Buster plus Benzonase®. Bacterial, Yeast or mammalian cell lysis can be done on one system.

No chemicals and no detergents are needed in any cell lysis protocol. The combination of technologies represents a significant step forward from traditional cell lysis procedures.

The Cyanase™ Inactivation Cartridges combine the novel Cyanase™ inactivation resin into easy to use cartridges for fast and easy removal of Cyanase from high throughput cell lysis and Pre-PCR clean up. Some key characteristics of the columns:

Ideal for high throughput proteomics applications.

Completely Non-Invasive. No addition of buffer or resin to reactions, and resin does not react with anything but the Cyanase nuclease.

Silica based columns are easy to use.

Can be used for Pre-PCR cleanup of high sensitivity assays. Just treat PCR master mix with Cyanase, add to column, incubate with resin, and spin down into provided collection tube. Target and primers are added after treatment and PCR is run as normal.
