Resonetics Growth Leads to New Facility
Date:1/3/2011

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Resonetics LLC is proud to announce that during the spring of 2011, the company will be relocated from its current Nashua, New Hampshire facility to a significantly larger facility a short distance away and still remain in the Nashua area.  The new facility has a footprint that is 50% larger than the current footprint with a significant portion allocated to medical device component and service manufacturing.  The company also plans to double again by 2012 and has reserved surrounding space to ensure expansion.

According to Cliff Gabay, President of Resonetics, "It is especially rewarding to our employees that Resonetics is experiencing significant growth opportunities in the medical device market.  Over the last few years, our company has executed the strategic plan to focus on medical device components and system business as well as exploding opportunities in diabetes and diagnostics, to name a few.  The net result is that we are overflowing in our current facility and we look forward to the new facility to continue executing our exciting growth plans."

The company chose to remain in the Nashua, NH area because it would be less disruptive to the employees who played a critical role to the success of the company. "Our core technology is laser micromachining and we leverage our success partly on the talents of our technical staff who have created intellectual property that has put us in this enviable position."

About Resonetics LLC:

Resonetics is the largest total solution provider of laser micromachining products and services in the world. It is also regarded as having the largest independent plastic (polymer) laser micromachining facility with more than 50 UV‐based laser micromachining systems and with three clean rooms. Laser micromachining represents a critical fabrication technology for the manufacturing of medical devices, diagnostics, and a variety of non‐medical products as the machining features become increasingly small.

The US‐based company has three separate business divisions: The Medical Division, The Laser Micromachining Division (for Contract Manufacturing Services) and The Laser Systems Division (for capital equipment).
