Rancho BioSciences Will Present the Accelerated Cure Project Multiple Sclerosis Data Curation White Paper at the tranSMART Fall Developers Meeting, Paris, November 5-7
Date:11/5/2013

San Diego, California (PRWEB) November 05, 2013

Rancho BioSciences, the global scientific data consulting company, announced today that they will be presenting their Multiple Sclerosis data curation project for the Accerlerated Cure Project (ACP) at the tranSMART Fall Developers Meeting hosted by Sanofi in Chilly-Mazarin, Paris November 5-7, 2013. Dr. Stephen Wicks of Rancho BioSciences, who has been on site at ACP, will be discussing the types of data that he had to curate, from extensive clinical information to expression and GWAS data. This information has then been uploaded into a public-domain platform, tranSMART for further analysis. A white paper covering this project will be available on Rancho BioSciences web site.

“I will share the data curation process, issues and how we found solutions to prepare the data for analysis”, said Dr. Wicks. “The end point was to load clinical, expression, and other biomarker data in tranSMART that will then be used for analysis and the development of predictive disease models for Multiple Sclerosis. This will allow researchers to classify MS patients better and more accurately, ultimately finding the best treatment or cure faster for each individual patient.”
