ROBODOC, develops, manufacturers, and markets a fully automated
surgical robotic system for orthopaedic surgery. The system includes two
components; ORTHODOC, a computer workstation equipped with proprietary
software for preoperative surgical planning, and ROBODOC, a
computer-controlled surgical robot for use in hip and knee replacement as
well as other orthopaedic surgeries. ROBODOC made medical history in 1992
