QImaging Introduces "QTube," a Video-based Learning Tool for Scientific & Industrial Digital Imaging
Date:9/24/2009

QTube is a video-based learning tool that offers quick and easy access to digital imaging resources for busy researchers and scientists. Initial QTube videos include imaging techniques such as color overlay, camera/driver installation and operating tips, and helpful procedures such as making live intensity measurements with multichannel products such as Photometrics Dual View imager. Features include a whiteboard for comments and questions regarding imaging techniques, bookmarking and sharing capabilities and custom topic requests.

Surrey, British Columbia (PRWEB) September 24, 2009 -- QImaging, a leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance, easy-to-use digital cameras for life science and industrial applications, announced the launch of "QTube", a video-based learning tool that provides scientists and researchers with practical information on many of the latest biological imaging applications, technologies and techniques.

Daily, scientists must focus on performing sophisticated biological research that includes a multitude of elaborate methodologies, protocols and procedures. In addition, they depend on a myriad of state-of-the-art laboratory technologies and techniques, the majority of which require some degree of technical familiarity and understanding. Consequently, researchers find that a great deal of their precious time gets diverted from their science to equipment manuals and learning curves.

QImaging's QTube is part of a new movement in scientific publishing to provide real-time, practical assistance to those who need "quick and easy" access to life science digital imaging resources. Located on QImaging's w
