Prior to joining Provia Labs, Bruce Meckling served as VP International at Optiva Corporation, makers of the Sonicare electric toothbrush, now the oral care division of Royal Philips Electronics. There, he played an important role in educating dentists and patients globally about the importance of preventive dentistry and the role that good brushing habits and professional dental care play in ensuring healthy teeth and gums. As General Manager of Distributor Operations for EMEA of Bausch & Lomb Inc, the global eye care company, he supported the launch of innovative new products, and helped to bring Bausch & Lomb products and services to eye care professionals and consumers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Meckling lived and worked in Europe for a decade, and has specialized in the international development of marketing and sales channels for professionally recommended healthcare products and services, working with dental and eye-care professionals in over 80 countries worldwide.
