Fort Washington, PA (PRWEB) April 15, 2013

Prova Education, a division of The Omnia-Prova Education Collaborative (TOPEC), announced that Alana Brody has been named Vice President, Education Strategy, and will steer the organization’s oncology education, planning, and professional alliance outreach. She brings more than two decades of oncology experience to Prova Education, further expanding its growing team of CME experts.

“We are excited to have Alana lead our oncology initiatives and help us strengthen Prova Education’s commitment to providing measurable education across a spectrum of cancers,” said Frank Russomano, President and CEO of US HealthConnect, parent organization to Prova Education. “Her experience in building resilient alliances across the oncology realm will be critical as Prova Education expands its oncology focus.”

“I am so pleased to join Prova Education and look forward to expanding the opportunities for learners, partners, and supporters,” said Brody. “Prova Education utilizes innovative strategies to reach and teach clinicians, including Project Oncology in partnership with ReachMD. This is an incredibly talented oncology team.”

Ms. Brody joins Prova Education with a deep understanding of oncology gained through engagements with MediCom Worldwide, as a co-founder of CancerConnect®, and as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)®. Her medical education programs have successfully educated oncology healthcare professionals across a wide array of cancers, keenly focusing on appropriate practices in alignment with clinical practice guidelines and evidence-based medicine. She has developed strong relationships that enable leading cancer centers and advocacy groups to participate collaboratively on a national basis. A seasoned CME professional, Ms. Brody is active in the National Association of Medical Education Companies (NAMEC) and serves as that organization’s chair of the Programming Committee.
