How can outsourcing partners produce win-win results and build long-term relationships? METTLER TOLEDO is pleased to offer a free educational Webinar highlighting the use of Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) to improve project communication and project success for both pharmaceutical outsourcing partners and their sponsors.

Columbia, MD (PRWEB) April 12, 2009 --- METTLER TOLEDO invites you to a free webinar, Process Analytical Technology (PAT): The "Official" Language of Pharmaceutical Outsourcing, taking place on May 20, 2009 at 9 am and 2 pm US EDT.

In an article listing the common gripes of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and their Bio-Pharma sponsors, Dr. Paula J. Shadle reported that both partners complained that "communication is difficult and misunderstandings keep occurring."

The use of the right Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) provides a common language for the transfer of outsourced processes for further development or manufacturing. Real-time measurements of critical process parameters have been used improve communications to ensure the process and product quality meet customer expectations; maximize resource utilization by enabling faster technology transfer and scale-up, and increased production throughput; and increase profitability by eliminating batch failures and rework due to off-spec material.

You are invited to attend this free webinar, which will use case studies to explore the benefits of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) in improving communication and project results for both the Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and the sponsoring Bio-Pharmaceutical company. Case studies will address commonly outsourced process applications including custom organic synthesis and crystallization steps in the production of an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) as well as the high shear granulation of a formulated drug product.
