The use of the right Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) provides a common language for the transfer of outsourced processes for further development or manufacturing. Real-time measurements of critical process parameters have been used improve communications to ensure the process and product quality meet customer expectations; maximize resource utilization by enabling faster technology transfer and scale-up, and increased production throughput; and increase profitability by eliminating batch failures and rework due to off-spec material.
