Probiotic-Enriched Instant Chai Latte and Teas to be Launched by Ganeden Biotech and Tipton Mills

Ganeden Biotech®, a recognized world leader in the manufacturing and marketing of probiotics, announced today that its industry leading probiotic GanedenBC30® has been selected by Tipton Mills for use in their private label and direct to consumer instant chai lattes, lattes, cappuccinos, and teas in various flavors.

Tipton Mills will unveil its new line of GanedenBC30® probiotic-enriched chai latte and hot and cold teas at the Fancy Food Show, June 17-19, 2012 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C., Booth #1704. Samples will be available for tasting.

“A lot of our products are heat sensitive. This particular probiotic, GanedenBC30, thrives in a heated environment,” said Tim Sheehy, CEO of Tipton Mills. “GanedenBC30 is a very unique probiotic that has demonstrated its ability to support digestive and immune health and we’re excited to be able to offer this benefit to our clients.”

While most strains of good bacteria need to be refrigerated or vacuum packed to maintain stability, GanedenBC30 can be included in a variety of foods and beverages such as breads and muffins, nutrition bars, yogurt, ice cream, protein powder, and even chocolate.
