Premier Wen Visits Asymchem's Tianjin Facility

TIANJIN, China, Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Asymchem Life Science (Tianjin) Co. Ltd., a leading research-based contract manufacturer of intermediates, API's and Drug Products for the pharmaceutical industry with sites in the U.S. and China, was pleased to receive a visit from Premier Wen Jiabao at its GMP R&D and manufacturing facility on the afternoon of October 24th, 2011. Premier Wen, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Premier of the State Council, visited Asymchem during his investigative trip to observe the development of Tianjin Binhai New Area where Asymchem is based. Premier Wen was accompanied by Mr. Zhang Gaoli, the Tianjin Municipal Committee Secretary.

During his visit, Premier Wen praised the CEO of Asymchem, Dr. Hao Hong, for Asymchem's growth. Asymchem has risen from a company with $250,000 USD in registered capital to one with $65 million USD in manufacturing output. Dr. Hong states, "Premier Wen spoke highly of Asymchem's innovation and its presence as a leading Chinese pharmaceutical company, which has the power to attract international talents."

Premier Wen also visited the Analysis and Testing Center and the process R&D center at Asymchem, commenting positively on Asymchem's dual focus on internationally advanced facilities and the involvement of high-tech talents. Dr. Hong adds, "Through the pursuance of high-tech innovation, Asymchem will continue to contribute to the development of the biopharmaceutical and strategically important new industries in the Tianjin Binhai New Area and throughout the whole of China."
