PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Premier Research Group plc (AIM: PRG) announces the appointment of W. Scott Keenen as its Vice President, Global Human Resources. Mr. Keenen will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and implementing activities related to maximizing the effectiveness of Premier Research's people and organization in alignment with the company's business strategy.

Mr. Keenen has 26 years of domestic and international experience across a diverse group of industries including Energy, Technology, Telecommunications and Professional Services. He has demonstrated a successful track record of HR leadership in complex, global, multi-facility, customer focused organizations. Most recently, Mr. Keenen was Global Director Human Resource for inCode Telecom where he executed the HR strategy to grow the organization from less than 200 employees in North America to a global company with over 400 employees in 11 countries. He was responsible for integrating acquisitions and implementing efficiency-enhancing employee recruiting and retention practices. Prior to inCode, Mr. Keenen held positions of increasing responsibility starting as a Field Engineer and moving to HR after cross functional assignments in sales and internal auditing for Schlumberger Ltd. Mr. Keenen received his MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and a BS in Physics from Bates College in Lewiston, ME.
