- Healthcare Information System Goes Live in Record Time of Two Months

In record time of two months, Pragmedic Solutions - a Dubai and US-based healthcare software solutions provider has successfully implemented the Healthcare Information System (HIS) for Emaar Healthcare Group, the healthcare subsidiary of Emaar Properties, it was announced today.

Research shows that doctors exhaust 40 to 60 per cent of their working hours engaged in documentation thereby moving them away from patient contact. The HIS solution will now enable Emaar Healthcare to eliminate this bottleneck and give more quality time to patient wellbeing as well as enhance their own research and the study of the latest breakthroughs in medicine by their clinical staff.

Partnered by Methodist International - a division of The Methodist Hospital, Emaar Healthcare used IBM Consulting as its system integrator in this makeover and now offers all relevant personal and medical data at the push of a button.
