Posit Science(R) Corporation Announces the Release of InSight(TM) 1.1
Date:11/13/2008

Brain fitness program that improves driving now includes personalized

progress tracking

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective immediately, Posit Science Corporation will begin shipping InSight Version 1.1 for Windows. This new release includes enhancements that enable users to closely track and understand the brain fitness gains they are making as they progress through the software, providing a highly personalized user experience.

InSight is a brain fitness software program that improves visual processing and memory. People's ability to take in and respond to what they see depends as much on the brain as the eyes. InSight speeds up and sharpens the brain's visual system so that people see more and react faster to what's around them, such as a child wandering into the street. Using InSight positively impacts essential daily activities, especially driving. In fact, InSight has been proven to cut the risk of auto accidents in half by dramatically improving driving performance.

InSight 1.1 allows users to track every step of their training experience through customized progress update messages. It also informs users about how the cognitive improvements they are making in the exercises will be expressed in everyday activities, such as grocery shopping, playing sports and driving.

Sixty-three year old Linda Stack is certain using InSight makes her a safer driver. "Lately, my peripheral vision was not what it should be," she said. "It was noticeable, especially when I was driving. I didn't want my wake up call to come when I had an accident so I was excited to try InSight. It has given me confidence and makes me feel that I can drive safely."

This new version of InSight also gives program participants flexibility to use InSight on more than one computer. Users can download their exercise data to pick up their training where they left off.

"We heard across the board from customers who wanted more information about tracking their progress," said Eric Mann, Posit Science Vice President of Marketing, "and we listened. Our goal at Posit Science is to provide state of the art, consumer driven products that make a difference in people's lives."

Existing InSight customers can upgrade to version 1.1 for $29.95 plus shipping and handling. The upgrade program will be available January 15, 2009.

The next release of InSight will be for Mac users and is currently in beta testing.

The standard retail price for InSight is $395 for a single user and $495 for two users. Purchasers can qualify for a $50 rebate per user by completing the recommended training schedule.
