Pollogen Announces Appointment of Ms. Yfat Scialom as Chief Executive Officer

TEL AVIV, Israel, BADAJOZ, Spain and SINGAPORE, August 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Pollogen Ltd. announced that Ms. Yfat Scialom has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer effective July 20, 2008.

Ms. Scialom comes to Pollogen with 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and senior management in the medical and aesthetic field. She previously served as VP of Marketing and Sales at UltraShape Ltd., a leader in non-invasive body contouring solutions. Ms. Scialom established the marketing and sales infrastructure and was responsible for the successful launch of the Company's products, defining the branding, positioning, and the formation of a global distribution network in 50 countries and 3 direct subsidiaries, driving sales from zero to tens of millions of dollars.

Ms. Scialom formerly served as a Senior Marketing Director of Oridion BreathID, a manufacturer of medical equipment in the field of Gastroenterology. Prior to Oridion, she acted as the General Manager of Sunlight Medical Europe, a medical device company in the field of ultrasound. Ms. Scialom holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from the Ben-Gurion University.

While Ms. Scialom will be the new CEO, Dr. Zion Azar and Mr. Pini Shalev will maintain an active role in their current positions as Chairman and CTO.
