June 19-21, 2009, Platoon Fitness is holding Platoon University at Bryn Mawr Outdoor Fitness Center, from 5am Friday until 6pm Sunday

BRYN MAWR, Pa., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Platoon Fitness is gearing up for Platoon U -- its training program aimed at certifying trainers from around the country in its outdoor training methods.

Trainers will travel to Bryn Mawr to learn exciting new techniques in the realm of outdoor fitness. Over 1100 exercises will be taught to Platoon U participants hoping to be certified in this exciting addition to the fitness world.

During the last day of the University, participants will be expected to pass a two-part test: one part written and the other part application. Everyone who passes will receive Level 1 Certification in the Platoon Fitness Outdoor Training, and a select few will be offered the chance

to become affiliates with the company.

Once certified, instructors will be ready to teach groups from 2 to 200 in Platoon Outdoor classes. Platoon Instructors are in demand world-wide. "I am excited about the opportunity to share our methods with these trainers," President Todd Scott said.

Platoon U will take place at Platoon Fitness Operational Headquarters. This facility is one of the largest facilities in the world solely dedicated to personal training.
