PRC Clinical Announces Completion of First Patient Cohort in UC Davis Regenerative Medicine Study in Musculoskeletal Diseases
Date:8/30/2017

PRC Clinical, an expert Clinical Trial Management CRO, today announced the completion of the first patient cohort in a clinical study with the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine.

The program is studying a directed regenerative approach to musculoskeletal and aging related disease. The study is headed by Nancy E. Lane, MD at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine and is funded by a grant from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine. Lane is an endowed professor of Medicine, Rheumatology, and Aging Research at UC Davis, and director of the UC Davis Center for Musculoskeletal Health.

Additionally, PRC Clinical is also supporting University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) since 2014 with clinical trial management services for a four-year Phase I, Parkinson’s disease clinical study. The study is evaluating safety for a vector based, gene-therapy treatment developed at UCSF. “We are thrilled to bring personalized CRO services to the academic world,” said Curtis Head, CEO of PRC Clinical, “and to renew our commitment to advancing innovative regenerative medicine treatments.”

PRC Clinical will be present at the Stem Cell Meeting on the Mesa October 4-6, 2017 in La Jolla, CA. The Stem Cell Meeting on the Mesa is a three-day conference on regenerative medicine and advanced therapies gathering the scientific community to advance cutting-edge research into treatments and cures.
