Osprey Expands In Europe

SARASOTA, Fla., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Expanding its European reach for bacterial products, Osprey Biotechnics Inc. of Sarasota has appointed Lake Chemicals and Minerals of England as a distributor.

Lake is located near Birmingham, England.

Osprey breeds trillions of beneficial bacteria which serve the agricultural, waste water, and environmental markets. Its bacteria are bred to be hungry and to open drain fields, and clean up industrial and marine spills. In agriculture, they protect vegetables, improve crop yields and lessen odors.

Lake is a major factor in European sales to these markets and is part of an alliance of individual technical distributors. The new relationship is expected to give Osprey quick access to European markets.
