Oracle’s Value Chain Summit San Francisco: Track Sponsor NexInfo presents more industry specific solutions
Date:2/4/2013

Orange, California (PRWEB) February 04, 2013

NexInfo Solutions Inc. a Gold level Oracle Partner today announced that it has launched a campaign along with Oracle aimed at the Engineering & Construction industry to educate the industry on how to alleviate some of the problems like ‘rapidly shrinking margins’, ‘increased reliance on sub-contractors’ and ‘cost overruns because of market fluctuations’. NexInfo and Oracle will work together to bring focus to the solution in an industry where the use of software for planning is not common. The industry currently relies heavily on project management software including Primavera and Oracle Projects to deliver projects successfully. However the use of such software is typically limited to management within the project and to current projects only. The forecasting and planning of projects is done on Excel spreadsheets and is limited to financial planning. NexInfo and Oracle will jointly address the industry at multiple forums to provide insight into how the industry can leverage the Oracle Value Chain Planning software and also leverage concepts and solutions from other industries to solve some of their problems.

NexInfo which is a leader in the Supply Chain Design also has the distinction of redesigning the $ 10 Billion plus supply chain for Motorola Mobility. NexInfo was favored by Motorola Mobility over the larger consulting firms to successfully redesign the supply chain and reduce the cycle time of the Sales & Operations Planning process. The redesign has helped Motorola achieve significant improvements in its processes. As part of the Value Chain Summit, Motorola Mobility will be presenting one of the many supply chain success stories – one that helped in inventory postponement at one of their divisions.
The session is on Tuesday, February 5th from 4:30pm to 5:15pm at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco in the Pacific D&K room. “We are very excited about Nex
