Ohio Executive Shares Why Ohio is the Perfect Location for Bioscience Business in National Ad Campaign

In addition, Ohio's supportive business climate has been instrumental in the company's growth. A recent $1.2 million Ohio Third Frontier grant enabled Girindus to build a new production facility. Local government tax abatements and grants also helped lay the foundation for the company's success.

Dr. Laskovics is the latest business leader featured in the "Why Ohio?" ad campaign, a series highlighting prominent executives in a variety of industries who have found business and personal success in Ohio.

"Top-level executives who have a true work-life balance will perform better at their jobs and the company will only achieve greater success," said Ed Burghard, executive director of the Ohio Business Development Coalition.
