Nourish the World! Terra Biotech Receives Thanks and Praise After First Shipment of 10,000 Servings of Nectr Core Vitamin Powder to Orphans in Ghana, Africa
Date:6/27/2012

DALLAS, June 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Terra Biotech, a lead nutritional supplement company, has partnered with Feeding the Orphans to facilitate the delivery of its Nectr Core vitamin powder, a nutrient-dense super food product, to malnourished children in regions of Africa and Haiti.

"Our company mission is simple," says Warren Nugent, President and CEO, Terra Biotech. "Nourish the world through the grace of our actions. Our unique business strategy combines the business and social models to create an opportunity to 'give back.' With our hybrid business model, each time a bottle of our Nectr products for adults is sold, a serving of Nectr Core Vitamin Powder is given to a child in need. Our consultants work with a daily mantra: 'Nourish your body. Nourish your life.' Each time they do, we donate to a child in need to 'Nourish the World.'"

Jamie Nugent, one2one's Ambassador, created the blueprint for the program, using her passion for children as a guidance beacon on the journey to end global malnutrition. "This isn't just a project -- it's a movement and, for me, it's a life's calling," says Jamie. "While others may find the task at hand daunting, Warren and I consider it a blessing to lead our team on this important mission. We are confident, together our collective commitment, focus and the hard work of our team of exceptional leaders will change the lives of children today and for future generations."

It was Jamie's personal experience with breast cancer that led her to the life path of holistic nutrition and giving back to those in need. "I was given the opportunity to improve my own health and well being. I feel compelled to pass that miracle on to others in need."

Jamie's story is a powerful one and eventually gave rise to the foundation of Terra Biotech and the implementation of the company's mission of nourishing the world. To see a video which details Jamie's story and the inspiration behind Terra Biotech's one2one progr
