New Online Imaging Suite Boosts Healthcare Imaging Efficiency, Productivity, and Revenues

nd technologists deal with this growing demand for imaging services by offering an online, searchable edition of Merrill's Atlas of Radiographic Positions and Radiologic Procedures. The online text features content integrated with color photos and radiographs of the most effective imaging projections and positions. Technologists and managers are able to decrease the risks patients can experience, reduce medical errors due to poor or inaccurate positioning, and save the costs of having to duplicate imaging studies. The rapid and accurate positioning of patients also helps technologists and managers serve higher numbers of patients, thereby boosting center or department revenues.

Meeting Continuing Education Needs

Mosby's Imaging Suite delivers continuing education in a media-rich environment, providing technologists and managers with access to more than 50 Category-A CE credits on topics such as MRI Patient Care and Safety, Sending and Receiving Radioactive Shipments and Ethics for Allied Health Professionals. Managers receive a single, unified transcript with the times, dates, and scores for each staff member's education and training activities. Managers also benefit from online testing for competency evaluation and tracking of results to meet compliance and survey requirements.

Managers can personalize and customized Mosby's Imaging Suite to build competency checklists and conduct assessments specific to an organization's requirements or the requirements of compliance and regulatory organizations, including The Joint Commission and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
