SAN CARLOS, Calif., Nov. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nektar Therapeutics (Nasdaq: NKTR) announced today that it is scheduled to present at the upcoming BMO Capital Markets Focus on Healthcare Conference in New York at the Millennium Broadway Hotel on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. ET.

The presentation and Q&A session will be accessible via a live audio-only Webcast through a link posted on the Investor Relations, Events Calendar section of the Nektar website: http://www.nektar.com. This Webcast will be available for replay until December 19, 2007.
