Mylan to Host Investor Day on October 3, 2007

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mylan Laboratories Inc. (NYSE: MYL) will host an investor day following the completion of the Merck Generics acquisition. Pending the closing, the investor day will take place on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in New York City. Robert J. Coury, Mylan's Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and distinguished members of the executive team from Mylan, Merck Generics and Matrix Laboratories will provide a detailed financial and strategic review of the new Mylan.

The full day of presentations will be broadcast live via webcast beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET. The presentations are expected to conclude by 2:30 p.m. ET.
