Multisol France on Track to Sell 250 Tons of International Fuel Technology, Inc. Fuel Additive Formulations
Date:2/4/2009

Multisol France realizes recurring revenue from the sale of International Fuel Technology, Inc. fuel additive formulations and is on track to sell over 250 tons of it during the first year of its distribution agreement with IFT.

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) February 4, 2009 -- International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB: IFUE) announced that Multisol France ("Multisol") is on track to sell over 250 tons of IFT fuel additive formulations during the first year of its distribution agreement with IFT. Multisol has been realizing recurring revenue from the sale of IFT products to: established fuel additive companies; fuel distributors; bio-diesel producers; lubricant blenders and marketers; and road transport companies.

Internaltional Fuel Technology, Inc. and Multisol signed a manufacturing, marketing and distribution agreement in July 2008. Multisol has distribution rights for IFT fuel additive formulations in France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. Multisol is part of the Multisol Group (www.multisolgroup.com), a prominent international chemical manufacturer and distributor with operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

"Since consummating our manufacturing and distribution partnerships with IFT in July of 2008, we have seen a steady increase in commercial activity related to IFT products," said Philippe Giocanti, Multisol France's Sales and Marketing Director. "We are selling IFT fuel additive formulations to numerous accounts including prominent fuel additive companies who are repackaging the formulations for resale into retail markets. The high level of end user demand and re-buy rates for these products is driving our recurring revenue streams."

"The success we are realizing is a clear indication of the end user benefits IFT products provide," said Mr. Giocanti. "We are realizing revenues from the sale of all IFT products and in particular expect sales of DiesoLIFTTM BD-3 to ramp up significantly in 2009."

DiesoLIFTTM BD-3 is IFT's proprietary fuel additive formulation for use with bio-diesel fuel blends. DiesoLIFTTM BD-3, like all IFT additive formulations, is REACH compliant. REACH (The Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) is the system developed by the EU (European Union) to manage the marketing and use of chemical substances in Europe.

"Our relationship with Multisol exemplifies the success of our commercial strategy of partnering with large, well-known additive and oil companies with established marketing channels and end user accounts," said Axel Farhi, IFT's Director of Global Business Development. "The added benefit of having a European option to manufacture our products is an important development for IFT as we continue to increase our commercial presence on the European continent."
