Date:3/17/2009

Investor Conference Call Scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM ET

LIVINGSTON, N.J., March 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Milestone Scientific Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MLSS), the recognized leader in advanced injection technologies, today announced that it intends to file its 2008 year-end results for the 12 months ended December 31, 2008 with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission on Tuesday, March 17, 2009.

Having succeeded in increasing sales for the award-winning STA Single Tooth Anesthesia System(TM) (STA System) for four consecutive quarters in 2008, the year-end results are expected to reflect record annual revenues of $6.62 million, up from $6.39 million in the prior year.

According to Joe Martin, Chief Executive Officer of Milestone, "The revised messaging and marketing platforms for the STA System that were implemented in early 2008 are now clearly resonating with dentists worldwide and attracting broad industry attention to our Company. Moreover, the clinical acclaim for the numerous tangible benefits of the STA System emanating from the dental community continues to inspire strong sales momentum. In addition, our decision to expand our distribution network from one exclusive distributor to numerous non-exclusive dental supply companies has resulted in much broader market penetration and a steady monthly increase in STA unit sales."

The Company will host a teleconference on Thursday, March 19, 2009, beginning at 11:00 AM Eastern Time, and invites all interested parties to join management in a discussion regarding Milestone's financial results, corporate progression and other meaningful developments. The conference call can be accessed by dialing toll-free 1-800-240-2430. For those unable to participate at that time, a replay of the teleconference can be accessed domestically by dialing 1
